RoleOperates Main Bank, Fill Bank, Marker Bank, and Player Services Support Bank as required/scheduled. Serves as central source of cash and cash equivalents for the company’s internal areas and prepares outside bank deposits. Depending on experience, the position may have the opportunity to dual‑rate as the Assistant Manager at times.
Responsibilities- Maintains accuracy and security of assets assigned to the bank.
- Provides fill/credit services for TGs, JP payout and resupply for slots, kiosks, and slot booths.
- Verifies and accepts drop funds from Soft Count and prepares daily external bank deposits.
- Serves as central consolidation point for funds and paperwork for imprest banks and booths.
- Maintains assigned bank in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
- Assists patrons in credit application completion and marker issuance/payment.
- Enrolls guests into the casino tracking system and maintains accurate player tracking information.
- Assists with all casino promotions, special events, and player services transactions (enrollment, redemption, card creation, etc.).
- Supports the Box Office Supervisor by assisting guests with distribution of event tickets.
- Issues redemptions to guests cashing in points.
- Verifies contents and accepts responsibility of the bank.
- Processes cash‑buys utilizing the correct procedure.
- Reports any system issues to the Manager.
- Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
- Greets and assists guests regarding services and information, providing superior guest service.
- Assists frontline cashiers with requests for comps, promotions, research, and point adjustments, and assists in Patron Management operations.
- Works frontline as needed during high‑volume periods and breaks other banks when required.
- Maintains and conducts inventory of Encore Club supplies (card stock, ribbons, brochures, BOCA tickets, gifts, etc.), maintains brochure racks, and replenishes required supplies upon Shift Manager direction.
- Runs, reviews, and corrects Bad Zip, New Member, Promotional, and other essential reports as directed by the Shift Manager.
- Ensures that current promotional, marketing collateral, and the Promo Book are current, updated, and on hand; updates the "Daily Board" with that day’s events and promotions.
- Handles the Double‑Platinum Window and ticket sales during the shift and assists the Box Office on show days.
- Assists with motorcoach manifests and greeting as directed by the Shift Manager.
- Maintains the Hard Rock spirit and keeps the workstation neat and organized.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous casino cage, credit, or player club experience required.
- Previous cash‑handling experience required.
- Must know and comply with Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act requirements related to credit/cage transactions.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with casino computer systems, Microsoft applications, and time‑keeping programs.
- Data entry and typing skills preferred.
- Ability to balance shift and cage.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Mïssissippi Gaming Commission work permit required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Very detail‑oriented and project a professional, positive image.
- High energy level and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal with people with sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
- Clear and effective communication with all Hard Rockers and guests.
- Ability to understand and disseminate written memos, instructions, regulations.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Ability to work independently and make effective decisions during the shift.
