** THE JOB:
** As a
*** Casino Accounting Clerk***, you will play an essential role in supporting the integrity of our gaming operations through accurate recordkeeping, detailed documentation, and regulatory compliance. By leveraging your attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication, you will partner with internal teams to support audit activities, maintain and verify gaming documentation, identify and document discrepancies, and help ensure compliance with established internal controls.

While your work happens behind the scenes, it plays a critical role in protecting the integrity of our operations and supporting the exceptional experiences our guests expect from MGM Resorts.
** THE STARTING RATE****:** $14.50 an hour
** THE SCHEDULE**:
* Full Time | Day Shift
* 7:00am – 3:00pm | Weekends required
* *** Must be open and flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
***** THE DAY-TO-DAY****:
*** Review detailed gaming transaction reports and supporting documentation, identifying and documenting exceptions for supervisor or manager review
* Maintain accurate records of sensitive gaming documents, including receipt, issuance, usage, and on-hand inventory
* Prepare and provide gaming documentation to Corporate to support audit activities.
* Scan, verify, and organize gaming documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls
* Conduct occasional audits of gaming operations to verify compliance with established procedures
* Record progressive jackpot meter readings from slot machines and ensure accurate documentation
* Support the Accounting team by maintaining organized records and adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** Holds a high school diploma or GED
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills
* Possesses basic knowledge of computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
* Exhibits basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel
