Stage Manager for Christmas in the Air at MGM’s Beau Rivage (Biloxi, MS)
Rand Productions is seeking a Stage Manager for Christmas in the Air at MGM's Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, MS. This is a NON-Union contract.
Provisions includeRound trip Travel, hotel accommodations (single room) inside the Beau Rivage, 3 free meals per day, resort privileges (pool, gym, etc.). Biweekly pay schedule.
Contract starts on November 16th, 2026 and ends January 2nd, 2027.
3.5 weeks of rehearsals (ON SITE at the Beau Rivage)
2.5 weeks of shows (24 total performances)
This is a 90-minute variety show with no intermission.
Total Pay: $5,000
The duties as Stage Manager shall include, but not be limited to:- Must possess a working knowledge of QLab and be comfortable operating and making modifications within the software, including the ability to create, edit, troubleshoot, and operate cue sequences. §
- 'Calling’ the show as necessary (including deck, lighting, audio and sfx 'GOs').
- Being available for a reasonable amount of preproduction meetings (Zoom/Teams meetings) and prepping files as deemed necessary by the senior production staff. (e.g., organizing initial rehearsal schedules, communicating with cast, planning & coordinating with Producer/Director and staff, etc.).
- Supporting and assisting the Executive Producer, Director, and the Show as necessary (with usual & customary Stage Manager duties);
- Keeping the stage/work area clean & safe at all times (which often times means arriving early and/or stay after rehearsals to make checks, oversea repairs, et al);
- Keeping a working up-to-date script at all times, whereas the SM can manage and support the production team, crew and cast (where applicable) with script lines, staging notes, musical ‘go’ cues, scenic moves, et al.
- Overseeing/assisting with load-in/out of all scenic, props and costuming accordingly, and oversee maintenance checks and repairs accordingly.
- Oversee prop set-up, build, manage, and maintain, which will include delegating to local/stage crew and Rand staff/cast members accordingly.
- Keeping scheduling up to date with all team members (Rand staff, cast & the client);
- Prepping all on-site / stage (and off-site locations) for rehearsals (sound system ready, number line set, water, etc.);
- Submitting daily reports (with information about cast moral/health, crew, guest interaction, tech malfunctions, etc.);
- Helping and ensuring that all Rand Productions and client/venue rules are followed by all Rand cast/staff (while BOH and on stage);
- Setting, checking and maintaining all props [daily] and/or delegating authority accordingly;
