MRI Technologist - Radiology Diagnostic Biloxi

Overview

Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.

Graduate of a radiographer program. Bachelor s Degree is preferred.

One (1) year of clinical MRI and/or Radiology Technology experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Prior critical care or intensive care experience is preferred.

Licensure in Medical Radiation with the state of Mississippi is strongly preferred. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology is required (or within 6 months of MS MRT temporary license for new grads). Registration with the ARRT in MRI is strongly preferred. BLS Certification is required (or within 30 days of hire into the position).
