Qualifications
Qualifications: Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. Must present a professional and well‑groomed appearance that guests will find appealing and approachable in order to engage in conversation. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Education and/or
Experience:
High school graduate or GED is required. Must have and retain national certification recognized by the State of Mississippi.
Good interpersonal and communication skills required. Professional appearance required.
Working Conditions: Able to work independently and with little supervision. Must be able to maneuver throughout Spa area. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, stoop, and kneel when servicing guests. Respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned, as necessary. To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Shall perform therapeutic massages that include, but are not limited to, Traditional Swedish, Deep Tissue Therapeutic, Aromatherapy and Ashiastu. Duties include, but are not limited to, stocking of massage rooms with towels, sheets, pillowcases, oils, and creams. Folding of sheets, towels, and pillowcases, as well as transport of soiled laundry to appropriate bins is also included in duties. Cleaning of massage room before, in between, and after massage appointments.
Adhere to all department and property policies and procedures. Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of department.
