Heavy Duty Steward – Golden Nugget Las Vegas

Location:

Las Vegas, Nevada. Join the Golden Nugget team as a Heavy Duty Steward and help keep our restaurant pristine and operating smoothly.

Responsible for providing the restaurant with clean equipment, walls, floors, tables, ceilings, and all other necessary items.

• Cleaning and washing all kitchen equipment, pots, and pans.
• Cleaning, washing, and storing all china, silverware, and glasses using the dishwasher.
• Cleaning, washing, scrubbing, detailing, and polishing all equipment, furniture, walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Operating dishwasher, floor scrubber, ladder, Kyvac, and trash compactor.
• Using dish carts, dolly, push carts, and hand carts.
• Delivering stock from receiving department and storing it.
• Ensuring proper and safe use of kitchen dishwashing and cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Taking out kitchen trash, including but not limited to grease and food particles from garbage disposals.
• Cleaning floors in the kitchen area and cookers.
• Ensuring the safety and security of all employees and guests.
• Exhibiting conduct in accordance with Golden Nugget policies and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Maintaining a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
• Having complete knowledge of all events and promotional activities and facilities available to guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age requirement is 18.
• 1 years’ experience cleaning in a high-volume industry.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
