Base pay range$45.00/hr - $50.00/hr
One of Insight Global’s clients is looking to onboard a Sr. QA Engineer to their team.
Location: Fully Remote (Must work PST Hours)
Duration: 12-month contract
Hourly Rate: $45-50/hr
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Test Rail).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for automated testing.
Responsibilities/Details:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing. They will conduct both manual and automated testing to identify defects and evaluate performance, usability, and security. Additionally, they will plan and execute User Acceptance Tests (UAT), log and manage defects in collaboration with developers, and maintain thorough documentation of test results and processes.
This is a 12-month contract and a fully remote opportunity working in the Pacific Time Zone.
