Web SW Developer About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web SW Developer to support a federal healthcare environment by designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining enterprise database systems and related web technologies. This role is responsible for administering SQL and Oracle databases, developing database solutions, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of mission-critical data.

As a member of the Information Technology team, you will collaborate with system administrators, developers, healthcare professionals, and government stakeholders to support database infrastructure, web integration initiatives, and technical modernization efforts. You will also serve as a technical liaison between Keesler Medical Center and the Defense Health Agency to ensure successful implementation of database and web-based solutions.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• Web Maintenance and Design:
  You shall develop,test, and maintain web applications and interfaces for 81 MDG Intranetto include management of access, security, and privilege level requirements.
• Contractor shall develop,test, and maintain Internet and Intranetservices including scripts and support programs for web integration; troubleshoot, debug, and modify legacy applications and scripts forthe 81 MDG Intranetto maintain/improve functionality.
• Contractor shall develop,test, and maintain applications across multiple environments and operating platforms;testwebsites and web interfaces, repair bugs/errors, and develop and documentworkarounds; and analyze resources and processes to recommend improvements/solutions.
• Contractor shall participate in and coordinate development and integration of subordinate hospital unitfunctions into Internet/Intranetapplications.
• Contractor shall provide technical liaison between 81 MDG and Defense Health Agency for Web page development, implementation, and issues.
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, contentcreationtools, computer skills, applications, and digital media. Interfacing with internal customers regarding their support needs, status updates, and all other aspects of planning.
• Managing user access and permissionsto network folders and web applications.
• Participating inthe development of systems in supportof customer needs. Providing inputand creating solutions to address issues or gaps in design.
• Creating and updating website pages, including preparing content for web pages, reports, and other outlets.
• Producing complete and accurate content for web publishing by formatting content, reviewing content, and inserting images and files.
• Participating inthetesting and installation of modifications and upgrades to hospital kiosks. Imaging and deploying new kiosks.
• Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedure documents for continuity purposes.
• Providing subject matter expertise forthe group on policies and procedures forthe Service Now Ticketing  System.
• Assists in database support activities and functions. Provides production database administration and supportintegration with developmentmembers duringthe application developmentlifecycle.
