Overview
The Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen client relationships. This role leads the sales team, sets performance targets, and ensures alignment with the company’s overall business objectives. The Sales Director serves as a key member of the leadership team, collaborating with marketing, operations, and product development to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and convention service team to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and oversee the development of targeted sales initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customers’ needs to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns and promotional activities with sales objectives.
- Ensure the sales team adheres to company policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
- Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
- Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
- Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong Computer
Skills:
MS Office Suit software, Word, Excel, Outlook. - Must be able to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing sight of time frames and deadlines.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies and marketing and sales plans.
- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
- Ability to analyze data for accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Display strong work ethic and team work.
