The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Emergency Department on an intermittent (as-needed) basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced provider seeking a flexible schedule while delivering high-quality emergency care to our nations Veterans.

About the Role:
As an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department, you will evaluate and manage patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions and levels of acuity. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients, order and interpret diagnostic studies, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team. An Emergency Medicine physician is available on-site at all times for collaboration and consultation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in any U.S. state or territory
- Board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Emergency Medicine or Acute Care experience preferred
