Job Description
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at The Madison Health and Rehab plays a vital role in providing compassionate care to residents in a skilled nursing facility. This position involves supporting patients with their daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and working closely within a collaborative team of CNAs and healthcare professionals.
Pay is hourly at $15.50 + $2 shift differential for the evening and night shift
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support with daily activities
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Assist with maintaining patient hygiene and personal grooming
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Facilitate patient mobility and prevent falls
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Collaborate within the CNA team to deliver coordinated care
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in nursing assistance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- Skills in patient care and vital signs monitoring
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
