RoleServes as host to guests visiting the pool, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities- Enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional service.
- Ensures that incoming phone calls are answered according to standard and disseminates pertinent information to guests.
- Receives towels from the loading dock, picks up all dirty towels left by guests, and stocks towels at the Platinum tower.
- Greets and interacts with guests, issues pool towels, and ensures that an ample number of pool towels are available at all times.
- Set up and break down of cabanas, clean cabanas, mop, empty trash, and service refrigerator.
- Straightens lounge chairs that are out of place and sets the backs down.
- Records the number of pool guests visiting per hour, recording data.
- Escorts guests to lounge chairs, pointing out various points of interest (i.e. restrooms, showers, cabanas, restaurants, etc.).
- Enforces pool policies, rules and regulations on a consistent basis and restricts pool access to registered guests.
- Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
- Notifies management of inclement weather or extenuating circumstances and of any biohazards or security issues.
- Skims pool and monitors deck cleanliness throughout shift; picks up trash and debris as necessary.
- Receives cash bank from cage and follows cash handling procedures.
- Promotes safety awareness to minimize injuries.
- Resolves guest issues.
- Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
- Performs any other necessary duties instructed by manager.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work with exposure to outside weather conditions including heat, humidity, sun, wind and rain.
- High energy level.
- Excellent non-verbal communication skills – good posture, able to establish eye contact, and positive body language.
- Must project a professional and positive image.
- Ability to handle and carry out instructions.
- Must be able to maintain composure under stress in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
- Basic reading skills.
- Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.
All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
