Customer Service Rep, Stocking
Ask Up Equipment – New & Used Agriculture Equipment, Parts, Service, and Financing
Locations:
Mississippi, Arkansas.
As a customer service representative in either the parts counter or service department, you will provide exceptional customer service, supply timely and accurate information, manage orders, maintain inventory integrity, and support technicians with work orders and quotes. Familiarity with agricultural and landscaping parts and equipment is required.
Responsibilities – Parts Counter Sales- Deliver excellent customer service to service department, counter, and phone customers.
- Recommend sales of additional parts or accessories.
- Process in-store orders accurately and timely; communicate pickup or delivery status.
- Locate and obtain merchandise, whether in-stock, out-of-stock, or non-stocked.
- Maintain inventory integrity by verifying receipt of shipments, assisting with placing parts orders in proper locations, cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain the showroom’s professional image and merchandise displays.
- Assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.
- Routinely lift items up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with or familiarity with agriculture and landscaping parts and equipment.
- Strong customer‑connection skills, professional image, and rapport building.
- Basic understanding of selling processes.
- Prior customer‑service experience is helpful.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Field internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department.
- Open and maintain work orders until closed and invoiced.
- Update customer profiles with equipment, hour, or other information.
- Maintain service accessories and supplies; prepare replacement orders.
- May prepare Service Technician labor performance, productivity, and efficiency reports.
- May process warranty or product improvement claims, including charge computation and follow‑up.
- May participate in Service EDUCATE training programs.
- Maintain a clean work area and perform work orderly.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
- Working knowledge of agriculture equipment and small Ag/Turf equipment.
- Experience working in a service department.
- Basic accounting practice knowledge.
- Basic computer function skills.
- Team‑oriented and cooperative work style.
- Effective communication skills.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
