IPSC is recruiting for professional security officers in Biloxi, MS with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team.
Salary & SchedulePay: $12.00 per hour, paid weekly.
Schedule:
- Sunday and Monday: 12am – 8:30am
- Wednesday and Thursday: 4:00pm – 12:30am
- 10:30am – 7pm (to be discussed at the interview)
- Prior law enforcement experience
- Military experience and/or 2 years of Unarmed Experience
- Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises
- Report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
- Perform control procedures when necessary
- Operate emergency equipment
- Document nightly operations and file weekly reports
- Investigate breaches of property
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Sound communication skills
- Professional presentation
- Ability to work as a team member and solo
- Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Reliable transport
- Active cellphone
- Clean criminal background
- Ability to pass a drug screen
Job Requirements
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and quickly in emergencies
- Ability to read and interpret written information under various circumstances
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle in the course of duties if required
- Ability to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise)
- Ability to walk, run, stand, climb, sit
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required
- Good mental health and ability to make decisions instantly during emergencies
- Meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work and obtain the required license (Armed or Unarmed)
