Industrial Wastewater Mechanic

H 2 O is currently seeking an Industrial Wastewater Mechanic to join our team in Harrison County, MS .

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on wastewater treatment equipment
• Troubleshoot pumps, motors, blowers, valves, piping, and other plant equipment
• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues before failures occur
• Assist with installation and modification of plant equipment and systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and operational issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Coordinate with plant operators to identify and resolve equipment issues
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition

• Experience in industrial wastewater, plant maintenance, or a related mechanical field
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and wastewater equipment
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Basic electrical and controls knowledge preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and company standards

The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
