Commercial Electrician - Jackson

Electrician Pay: $24.00 per hour

Helper Pay: $16.00

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial electrical experience and be highly skilled in bending and installing conduit.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial buildings.
• Bend, install, and secure various types of electrical conduit.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
• Install electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
• Measure, cut, and route conduit and electrical wiring according to project specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify issues with wiring, equipment, and components.
• Perform electrical work in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work with other electricians, contractors, and construction personnel to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company and job-site safety requirements.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Demonstrated experience with bending conduit.
• Ability to read and understand electrical plans and schematics.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Must provide and maintain your own basic electrical tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation and safety practices.
• Ability to perform physical job duties, including standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and working in various job-site conditions.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
