Binghamton University, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the America East Conference, is seeking a Manager of Brand/Ticket Operations, Camps and Clinics.
The Manager of Brand/Ticket Operations, Camps and Clinics is responsible for coordinating and managing ticket operations for all athletic events, overseeing the administration of youth and sport-specific camps and clinics, and ensuring the consistent application and evaluation of the division's brand standards, logos, and marks. This position supports the division's goals of revenue generation, compliance, community engagement, and brand protection.
Duties and Responsibilities Ticket Operations- Manage daily operations of the ticket office for Binghamton University Athletics, including printing, distribution, and reconciliation of ticket sales for all ticketed events.
- Establish and maintain effective internal accounting controls and ensure PCI compliance.
- Prepare daily and weekly summary financial statements for all events.
- Administer Agile ticketing software, including database setup, event manifests, liaison with the vendor, customized reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Execute season ticket renewals and mailings.
- Oversee and coordinate distribution of student-athlete and recruit tickets in compliance with NCAA regulations.
- Reconcile daily financial reports for transactions processed through the box office and deposit checks with Student Accounts.
- Collaborate with external relations staff to maximize ticket revenue, donor contributions, and community promotion of athletics.
- Develop ticket sales opportunities, including outreach to local businesses and in-person appointments to sell season tickets, partial plans, and group tickets, meeting established revenue goals.
- Work cooperatively with other University units for ticketed events in athletic venues.
- Create weblinks and process payments for state tax reimbursements.
- Direct box office operations at all ticketed events, including evenings and weekends.
- Hire, train, and supervise approximately 35 student managers, sellers, gate attendants, and program sellers.
- Invoice, collect, and reconcile corporate sponsorship agreement
- Coordinate planning, marketing, registration, and on-site execution of athletics camps and clinics.
- Serve as the primary contact for camp compliance and operations, ensuring adherence to NCAA and institutional regulations.
- Oversee financial tracking and reconciliation for all camps and clinics.
- Provide training and support to coaching staff on camp policies and procedures.
- Collect payments and process reimbursements for camps and clinics.
- Collaborate with coaches to create registration links and establish payment methods.
- Evaluate use of athletics logos, marks, and branding to ensure compliance with university guidelines.
- Provide Deputy AD with a weekly summary of approved and denied artwork
- Review and approve requests for use of marks by internal and external stakeholders via CLC's Brand Manager platform.
- Collaborate with marketing, coaches, equipment room, and communications staff to protect and enhance the athletics brand.
- Monitor brand consistency across merchandise, promotional materials, and digital platforms.
