Dentist Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated dentist who can manage a busy caseload. The practice is looking for someone who can step into a leadership role, as the lead doctor is looking to reduce their hours. With the practice being a multi million dollar practice, the ideal candidate will have the ability to place implants and handle molar endodontics, but we are also open to driven young dentists who are eager to be mentored.
Dentist Office Hours
- 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
Dentist Practice Information
This practice features new equipment and a supportive staff, creating an excellent environment for both patients and professionals.
Age Ranges
- Primarily adult patients, with some children
Dentist Compensation:
- Competitive starting pay from $250,000/year, with potential earnings up to $300,000/year based on production. Includes a minimum daily guarantee and bonus opportunities.
Responsibilities of the Dentist:
- Provide diagnosis of patients' dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques.
- Assess patients' dental needs and arrange appropriate consultations for treatment.
- Deliver comprehensive dental care, including routine exams, extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments.
- Refer patients to dental specialists when necessary.
- Oversee the administrative functions of the dental office.
- Supervise dental hygienists and assistants.
Requirements of the Dentist:
- DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school
- Valid dental license and DEA certification
- Nitrous Oxide and CPR certifications
- Willingness to relocate to Binghamton, NY and become part of the community
- Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient care
