The regional leader in healthcare is seeking a residency trained BC/BE Adult Psychiatrist to join our multi-disciplinary team in Upstate New York for an in-patient opportunity.

Our Psychiatrists carry an inpatient case load of approximately 12, where patients will likely be in three inpatient units. Units include: a high security unit with 17 beds; a geropsych unit with a strong ECT program for both inpatient and outpatient treatment; and a 22 bed general psych unit which provides stabilization and treatment for patients who are appropriate for a locked, but less secure than the high security unit.

Physicians work with an interdisciplinary treatment team for each patient. The behavioral health program staff works as a collaborative team. Psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, counselors and other disciplines work together to plan and deliver care to patients.
