Progressive multi-specialty group with a large primary care base, consisting of 200+ physicians providing care in over 20 medical and surgical specialties in multiple locations is recruiting for growth and succession planning and has an excellent opportunity for an experienced residency-trained Physiatrist. Practice within a large hospital affiliated multi-specialty group and work cooperatively with an established, independent physician group. The group is affiliated with the regional leader in healthcare and there is a strong market presence in the region and an excellent referral base.

Position is primarily in-patient, MVA, stroke, TBI, etc. Out-patient for sports pain, general rehabilitation, Workers' Compensation. Licensed for 24-beds with an average daily census of 15 with hospitalist coverage. Shared weekly call coverage of all patients on the unit at that time. N.P. medical coverage M-F, 8 4, Hospitalists on call cover after hours and weekends for any clinical/medical needs.

The new physician may serve as Medical Director of the inpatient rehab unit and share inpatient call with community physiatrists. The outpatient practice includes in office procedures as well as concussion clinic. There are opportunities for teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research.
