Early Head Start Teacher
The Early Head Start Teacher leads the classroom team in assessing and responding to the individual needs of Early Head Start participants and makes weekly contact to assess educational, health, nutrition, and social service needs and to enhance the parent(s) ability to meet those needs through the appropriate use of community resources.
Qualifications- AAS in ECE or Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential for Infant and Toddler Caregivers or an equivalent credential that addresses comparable competencies.
- At least two years demonstrated experience working with infants/toddlers and families of lowincome.
- Willingness to become knowledgeable regarding Head Start philosophy and regulations and the community we serve.
- Car and Drivers License required.
