- Health Information Technology Job Description
SUNY Broome Community College invites applications for qualified candidates to teach as part-time adjunct instructors within the Health Information Technology department. Adjunct instructors will have the opportunity to teach a variety of online Health Information Technology (HIT) courses. Opportunities vary by semester.
The department is establishing a pool of candidates to fill potential part‑time temporary teaching positions. These positions are filled on an as‑needed basis per semester and the college conducts ongoing recruitment efforts. Applicants are contacted and hired for assignments based on college needs.
Requirements- A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- RHIT or RHIA credentials required.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
Offers of employment will be conditional upon a satisfactory, required pre‑employment standard background check.
