Job DescriptionSUNY Broome Community College invites applications for qualified candidates to teach as part-time adjunct instructors within the Health Information Technology department.
Adjunct instructors will have the opportunity to teach a variety of online Health Information Technology (HIT) courses. Opportunities vary by semester.
The department is establishing a pool of candidates to fill potential part-time temporary teaching positions. These positions are filled on an as-needed basis per semester and are ongoing recruitment efforts. Applicants are contacted and hired for assignments based on college needs.
Requirements- A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
- RHIT or RHIA credentials required.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
