Adjunct Instructor – Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Department

SUNY Broome Community College seeks dedicated candidates to fill part‑time Adjunct Instructor positions in the PTA Department. The department offers an A.A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant, which is fully accredited by CAPTE and is a New York State licensure preparation program.

The successful candidate will provide instruction, course management and maintenance, and student support for selected courses in the PTA programs. Courses may include lecture and/or labs and are offered in an in‑person format.

• A Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• An active, unencumbered New York State PTA or PT license is required.
• PTA clinical and teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience teaching and working within a clinical setting is strongly desired.
• A strong background in electrotherapeutic agents, mechanical spinal traction, and electromyographic biofeedback is preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
