Substitute Teacher
The Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) is seeking a substitute teacher to support students in grades 4-12.
Major Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons provided by the regular teacher using virtual platforms (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, Google Classroom).
- Facilitate class discussions and activities in a remote setting.
- Take attendance and report absences.
- Monitor student participation and engagement during live sessions.
- Maintain a positive and respectful virtual classroom environment.
- Redirect off-task behavior and encourage participation.
- Assist students with basic technology issues.
