SUNY Broome Community College is a comprehensive community college located in the scenic Southern Tier of New York. The College has over 7,700 students annually, and services over 6,100students per semester in Liberal Arts, Business & Professional Studies, Health Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs. An additional 1,600 students areserved through the College's workforce and non-credit programs.
Job Description:SUNY Broome Community College is seeking qualified applicants for part-time faculty (adjunct) teaching in our Business Programs Department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Creating Syllabus.
- Teaching under the guidance of the department chairperson.
- Helping students master course content.
- Assessing student learning outcomes.
- Utilizing current learning management system technology(Brightspace) in the performance of job duties.
- Maintaining standards of professional conduct and ethics.
- Fulfilling other duties as outlined in the Faculty contract.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. AMaster's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or in a related field is preferred.
- Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the resultsof a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
