Join our dynamic team as a Junior Structural Engineer, where you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on a diverse array of building projects, contributing to both design and analysis aspects. In this role, you will be working under the mentorship of a licensed Professional Engineer, tackling various project tasks. Your assignments will include:

• Structural design and analysis
• Structural modeling and drafting
• Detailing and construction administration services
• Conducting structural inspections
• Preparing technical reports

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of structural engineering principles, as well as strong mathematical skills. Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD or Ram, along with familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD, is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with team members are crucial for success in this role. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be key as you contribute to the creation of high-quality, constructable drawings for a variety of successful projects.

• Understanding of structural engineering principles related to building design
• Ability to perform complete structural analysis for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
• Familiarity with relevant design codes, including Building Code of New York State, International Building Code, ASCE-07, AISC, and ACI
• Collaborative spirit to support cross-discipline colleagues as directed by project leads
• Proactive problem solver with a desire to learn and grow
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, for seamless collaboration with project teams
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; emphasis on Structural Engineering or a Master's in Structural Engineering is a plus
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• EIT License is required
