We are seeking an entry‑level Structural Designer to join our Structural Department. The successful candidate will develop structural design solutions for a variety of projects, support construction administration, and contribute to sustainability‑focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare structural engineering and construction drawings under direct supervision using Autodesk Revit.
- Adhere to Ramboll quality management system, drafting standards, and client or industry specifications.
- Participate in the Ramboll CAD/BIM Coordinator Certification program and act as Coordinator on selected projects.
- Review vendor drawings/submittals to confirm compliance with contract documents.
- Visit job sites to gain field experience and develop practical engineering skills.
- Assist in creating a safety culture in the office and on the field.
- Use sound judgment and discretion in performing job functions.
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs, and geotechnical data to plan routine‑to‑average complexity projects and produce design deliverables for review.
- Perform calculations and develop simple to complex design elements under supervision.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Architecture, Structural Technology or related discipline.
- Experience with Autodesk Revit.
- Willingness to grow and learn new market sectors.
- Strong communication skills, ability to interact with clients and teammates, and proficient report writing.
Base salary range: $57,952 – $83,306 per year. Compensation may vary with location, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits include bonus, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package supporting well‑being, professional development, and work‑life balance.
