Horn 2

The Binghamton Philharmonic is seeking candidates for a tenure-track Horn 2 position. Auditions will take place on September 24, 2026, at the Forum Theatre in Binghamton, New York. Interested applicants must submit their resumes via email and include their intended position in the subject line. A refundable audition deposit of $45 is required, which can be paid through Pay Pal or by mailing a check to the orchestra's office.

The final date to apply for the audition is September 4, 2026. The audition deposit will be refunded if the application is not accepted or if the applicant appears for the audition. However, the deposit will not be refunded if the applicant fails to appear or cancels within 48 hours of the audition.

The Binghamton Philharmonic operates as a paid per-service orchestra, with compensation for the  season set at $151.46 for Principal, $133.25 for Assistant Principal, and $121.14 for Section players, along with additional contributions and potential housing and mileage reimbursements for eligible musicians.
