Responsibilities- Assist in the processing and dispensing of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Deliver compassionate care to patients and customers and provide high‑quality, customer‑focused service.
- Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill prescriptions.
- Adhere to all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy registration, licensing and certification requirements according to state guidelines.
- Seek opportunities to expand clinical, technical and insurance knowledge through available tools and training.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Licensure requirements vary by state.
- Attention and focus; ability to concentrate on a task over time without distraction.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to help people in a friendly manner.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written interaction with customers and colleagues.
- Active listening and the ability to understand points being made, ask appropriate questions, and avoid interrupting.
- Mathematical reasoning to solve problems (e.g., calculating day’s supply of a prescription).
- Problem resolution and the ability to judge when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.
- Standing for extended periods; moving between work areas; finger dexterity and computer use.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally, with varied exertion requirements.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- PTCB National Certification.

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $16.25 - $27.00 per hour
