• Assist in the processing and dispensing of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and customers and provide high‑quality, customer‑focused service.
• Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill prescriptions.
• Adhere to all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy registration, licensing and certification requirements according to state guidelines.
• Seek opportunities to expand clinical, technical and insurance knowledge through available tools and training.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Licensure requirements vary by state.
• Attention and focus; ability to concentrate on a task over time without distraction.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to help people in a friendly manner.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and written interaction with customers and colleagues.
• Active listening and the ability to understand points being made, ask appropriate questions, and avoid interrupting.
• Mathematical reasoning to solve problems (e.g., calculating day’s supply of a prescription).
• Problem resolution and the ability to judge when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.

• Standing for extended periods; moving between work areas; finger dexterity and computer use.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally, with varied exertion requirements.

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB National Certification.

  The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $16.25 - $27.00 per hour
