We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Catering & Concessions Director at Binghamton University, a role focused on elevating service, driving operational success, and delivering innovative dining experiences across campus.
AboutThe Role
As a Director of Operations, you’ll oversee comprehensive catering and concessions programs while ensuring superior service, operational efficiency, and financial success. Your leadership will shape the quality, hospitality culture, and client partnership experience at one of the nation’s premier institutions.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership- Develop and execute budgets, forecasts, and operational plans to achieve financial and service goals.
- Maintain and implement Compass Group standards across all catering and concessions functions.
- Ensure adherence to all regional, corporate, and account‑specific policies, procedures, and food safety programs.
- Oversee accurate and timely reporting for all operational and financial activity within the account.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) preferred
- Minimum five (5) years of food service management experience
- Required Higher Education experience in both board and retail dining operations
- Strong understanding of P&L accountability and contract‑managed services
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team‑building skills
