PositionSummary
The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the food & beverage service of guests in the arena at various concessions stands, bars, and portable food & beverage locations. The role requires a personable individual able to work in an ever‑changing fast‑paced environment. The Concessions Supervisor will assist the Concessions Manager and the OVG leadership team with projects including training, inventory, and special events.
The position requires excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled. Compensation is a hourly rate of $17.00–$20.00.

About the VenueMirabito Stadium is the home of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and a premier sports and entertainment venue located in Birmingham. It serves as a dynamic hub for live events, community gatherings, and large‑scale productions, hosting professional and amateur sporting events, concerts, festivals, and private rentals.
Responsibilities- Ensure proper set‑up of all concessions locations prior to doors, including verifying opening inventory, assigning duties to concession workers, ensuring sanitation standards, verifying operational readiness, and assuring cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide a high level of oversight and operational expertise to achieve smooth, efficient, and profitable event execution.
- Train new and current employees on property procedures and best practices.
- Cover or back‑up any open position to maintain full operational capacity and meet service speed and guest satisfaction standards; assist with premium services operations and event needs as directed.
- Maintain a safe work environment, promptly addressing safety concerns, hazards, accidents, or incidents, and relaying issues to management immediately.
- Ensure staff and volunteers understand workplace expectations, provide ongoing assistance, training, and mentoring, and promote a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative environment.
- Obtain working knowledge of all concession locations, including equipment, evacuation procedures, and adjacent areas.
- Supervise beverage service to guests, including alcoholic beverages, and verify identification for age compliance.
- Record guest orders and relay them to the kitchen via P.O.S. system.
- Monitor guests to respond to additional requests and determine completion of meals.
- Compute meal cost, present the guest with the check, accept payments, and provide change as necessary.
- Recommend dishes and explain menu items to guests.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Demonstrate excellent attendance in line with company standards.
- Ensure equipment is operable and clean prior to event start.
- Recognize visibly intoxicated guests and take action to cut off alcohol.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Apply human resources skills for employee relations, corrective action, coaching, counseling, and complete necessary HR paperwork.
- Assist management with projects including training, inventory, and special events.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- 1–2 years’ experience supervising in a food & beverage environment.
- Ability to supervise and communicate with employees, volunteers, managers, and guests in a clear, respectful manner.
- Proficiency in English (spoken, read, written).
- Strong teamwork skills in a fast‑paced, event‑driven environment.
- Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit, as required by state or federal regulations.
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills for POS transactions and inventory reconciliation.
