** NYSEG - NY - Binghamton - Noyes Island
** HOURLY RATE:** $46.34 - $47.34
** Duties:
** Under directive supervision:
* Transports and operates mobile equipment such as pole-hole diggers; backhoes; power plant bulldozers and locomotives; front-end loaders; graders; and their accessories.
* Performs inspection and field maintenance work on equipment; assists mechanics in shop maintenance of equipment covered by this classification.
* May direct one or two employees assisting him; assists in training new operators.
* Completes running records and performs other routine clerical duties related to his work.
* Does other related or less skilled work as required; including duties of lower-rated Equipment Driver/Operators.
** Experience, Education and Special Information
Required:
*** Prior experience in the operation of equipment is desirable.
* Should have completed 2 years of high school or equivalent.
* Should be familiar with Company Safety Rules and able to render practical First Aid.
* Must pass Company performance test. Must be able to qualify for required licenses.
** Physical
Qualifications:
*** Normal health, physique and use of senses as indicated by passing the required physical examination given by a Company physician.
* Strength adequate for arduous labor in all kinds of outdoor weather conditions.

Qualifications:
*** Must be willing to work irregular and/or extra hours as required.
* Must be willing to work under unusual or special working conditions and
* surroundings, as well as the normal working conditions pertaining to this job.
