Multimedia Sales Manager

About the Role

WBNG-TV, the CBS affiliate in Binghamton, New York, has an immediate opportunity for a strong leader in sales management for our multi-platform sales team. This important position on our leadership team works in tandem with the Director of Sales and gives you the responsibility of revenue management for our station, which includes broadcast sales on CBS, The CW, and MeTV, as well as digital opportunities.

Salary: $72,000 - $82,000/yr. (plus commission)

• The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, driven, and able to motivate the local sales team to achieve their individual sales goals.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, communicate across departments, ensure projects and campaigns are executed as proposed and sold, and be extremely organized with great time management skills.
• A bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in broadcast sales is preferred.
• 3 years of experience in managing a sales team, strategic planning, and a track record of growing revenue preferred.
