Material Handler, Forklift Operator
C.H. Thompson is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining quality, safety, and productivity through a hands-on approach. Position Overview
- Shipping and receiving, including both material handling and administrative duties.
- Utilize computer system to ship, check order status, scan orders and upload pictures.
- Accurately enter a high volume of orders into the computer system, ensuring correct pricing, quantity, and model numbers.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Maintain organization of the receiving area, staging area, hold area and outgoing area of the warehouse, including all respective paperwork.
- Report any discrepancies between paperwork (i.e. purchase orders, job card routers, shipping tickets) and physical inventory.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Final review of completed product - review paperwork and packaging of parts. Responsible for final review prior to shipping parts to customers.
- Proficiency in databases and systems.
- Must be willing to operate a forklift.

- Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 4:00pm
- Friday 6:30am-1:00pm
- Wage
- $18.50 - $22.50 per hour.
- Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience.
