What You Will Do:

Providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees.
Integrate electrical components and wiring into design while meeting vendor and OEM requirements.
Verify system configuration and block diagram.
Operate in a team environment with other functional areas providing input to design solutions and participate in design reviews.
Oversee electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness assembly drawing, circuit breakers, and electrical loads analysis. Coordinate aircraft electrical mission equipment installations.
Identify, document, and communicate significant design and integration risks for timely review and resolution.
Monitoring and reporting of aircraft installation design milestones and reporting status to project/program management.
Be self‑directed, able to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives with minimal oversight.

Qualifications You Must Have:

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Experience with electrical design tools (Visio, AutoCAD, Capstone Harness, Catia).

Qualifications We Prefer:

Active DoD security clearance.
Experience with aircraft, trainers and/or other technical system integration.
Experience with design and development processes with practical experience in multiple phases of the hardware lifecycle: requirements, design, development, integration, validation/verification, and sustainment.
Experience with manufacturing teams, vendors, and other suppliers to build cost‑effective solutions.
Experience with Electrical Wiring Integration Systems (EWIS) standard.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
