What You Will Do:
- Providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees.
- Integrate electrical components and wiring into design while meeting vendor and OEM requirements.
- Verify system configuration and block diagram.
- Operate in a team environment with other functional areas providing input to design solutions and participate in design reviews.
- Oversee electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness assembly drawing, circuit breakers, and electrical loads analysis. Coordinate aircraft electrical mission equipment installations.
- Identify, document, and communicate significant design and integration risks for timely review and resolution.
- Monitoring and reporting of aircraft installation design milestones and reporting status to project/program management.
- Be self‑directed, able to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives with minimal oversight.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Experience with electrical design tools (Visio, AutoCAD, Capstone Harness, Catia).
- Active DoD security clearance.
- Experience with aircraft, trainers and/or other technical system integration.
- Experience with design and development processes with practical experience in multiple phases of the hardware lifecycle: requirements, design, development, integration, validation/verification, and sustainment.
- Experience with manufacturing teams, vendors, and other suppliers to build cost‑effective solutions.
- Experience with Electrical Wiring Integration Systems (EWIS) standard.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
