We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Assembly Technician
- Energy Systems LFP Battery who brings enthusiasm and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll support Energy Storage Systems while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. You’ll Be Doing:
- Support LFP battery production operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Operate testing equipment to perform functional and performance testing of products.
- Troubleshoot product and equipment issues and perform setup on complex functional units.
- Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), and functional specifications.
- Analyze production and testing processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Production Planning, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues, improve processes, and ensure production goals are achieved.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to support new product introductions, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor associates on testing procedures, equipment operation, and standardized work practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or five years of related experience
- Microsoft office experience:
Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Ariba
- Experience with Smart Sheet
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- This is an in-person role located at our Kirkwood, NY location-ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
- Work schedule is Monday
- Thursday 6:00am - 3:30pm and Friday 6:00am - 10:00am . Overtime as required based on business needs.
Wage
-$24.51 - $35.29 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
