Vice President of Operations

Location: Binghamton, NY |
Schedule: Full-time, on-site

An established manufacturer in the Binghamton, NY area is seeking a Vice President of Operations to elevate productivity, strengthen accountability, and improve operational performance while preserving the systems that have made the business successful. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving performance across the entire operation.

• Lead daily operations across engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, scheduling, logistics, and HR
• Improve productivity, equipment uptime, labor efficiency, and overall operational performance
• Drive accountability, develop leaders, and build a high performance culture
• Ensure on-time delivery, quality, and customer commitments are consistently achieved
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining proven operational systems
• Oversee engineering and maintenance projects to ensure timely completion

• 8+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience
• Experience leading multiple operational functions
• Background in high mix, low volume, configure to order, or make to order manufacturing
• Strong ERP experience including production planning, scheduling, BOMs, and routings
• Proven success improving productivity, equipment uptime, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery

• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience preferred
