About This Role
The Staff Nurse position at UHS Binghamton General Hospital is ideal for skilled and motivated nurses looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. This role involves delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient perioperative care while supporting exceptional patient outcomes.
Highlights- Pay: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience
- Location: Binghamton, NY
- Facility: UHS Binghamton General Hospital
- Schedule: Full-time, Rotating
- Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients.
- Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management.
- Administer medications safely according to UHS Hospitals policy.
- Share responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization.
- Comply with nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies.
- Participate in and support the Nursing Shared Governance Model.
- Engage in professional development and complete mandatory education requirements.
- Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice.
- Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students.
- Perform duties related to the Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator role when assigned.
- Education:
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience:
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred
- Licenses &
Certifications:- Current New York State Registered Nurse License required
- CCRN preferred
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned preferred
