About This Role

The Supervisor, Clinical RN in the Prep/Recovery Unit is responsible for overseeing daily department operations, supervising nursing personnel, and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to take on leadership responsibilities within a collaborative team environment.

• Pay: $40.25 - $62.59/hour
• Location: Binghamton, NY
• Schedule: Full Time

• Supervise personnel and coordinate shift activities of nursing.
• Mentor under the Clinical Manager/Director and pursue management training.
• Ensure compliance with department goals and clinical resource utilization.
• Monitor and guide clinical practice expectations based on established goals.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, and departments to promote optimal patient care.
• Manage daily staffing issues and adjust schedules based on patient needs.
• Advocate for the protections and rights of individuals and staff.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• BSN required within 3 years;
  Master’s preferred.

• Two years of recent clinical supervisory or charge nurse experience desired.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania/New York.
• Certification within area of expertise or practice preferred (Nursing Management, CCRN, CEN, etc.).
