About This Role

The PD RN in the Operating Room provides professional nursing care in an acute care environment, ensuring safe and compassionate care for patients. This role is ideal for nurses who are dedicated to delivering evidence-based quality care and are skilled in a fast-paced surgical setting.

• Pay: $39 to $54.12
• Location: Binghamton, NY
• Facility: Guthrie
• Schedule: Per Diem

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care.
• Develop, update, and coordinate the patients' plan of care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care in care planning.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ensure safety by identifying and correcting problems in nursing care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and practice at the top of license.
• Demonstrate leadership and collaborate with the inter‑professional care team.
• Participate in the planning and presentation of educational programs.
• Utilize information technology effectively in patient care delivery.

• Education: BSN in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, or less than 1 year if transitioned from the Newly Licensed Registered Nurse Residency (NLRN) Program.

  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications are unit dependent.
  • Specialty Certification preferred.
