The Medical Surgical Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) at United Health Services (UHS) provides patient-centered nursing care to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, injury, and medical‑surgical conditions. - Minimum
Required:
A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing - Preferred:
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing - Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
- Minimum

Current NYS RN License - Preferred:
Professional certification in a related nursing specialty - Relevant skills certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned
- Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients.
- Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
- Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
- PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by Infection Control policies
