Full‑Time, Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) – 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence‑based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.
Education,License & Certification
- Registered Nurse in the State of Practice.
- BSN in Nursing preferred.
- Specialty Certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS unit dependent.
The Registered Nurse must be a registered nurse currently licensed in the state of employment with at least one year of experience. Alternately, the RN may have less than one year of experience if they have been transitioned to their position from the Newly Licensed Registered Nurse Residency (NLRN) Program. Must maintain BLS certification; ACLS unit dependent. Educational requirements during employment are determined by the Nursing Department and Nursing Unit.
EssentialFunctions
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; develop and update patient care plans.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care, partner in care planning to promote autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs.
- Facilitate learning for patients/families, nursing, and other healthcare team members.
- Align practice with safety and quality: identify and correct problems, integrate evidence and best practice; use data to improve patient outcomes.
- Engage in professional development, practice at the top of license within legal parameters.
