Part Time Adjunct- Nursing

Suny Broome Community College is seeking dedicated and passionate nursing professionals to join our team as Part‑Time Adjunct Instructors in the Nursing department. Adjunct instructors have the opportunity to teach in a variety of clinical settings and nursing courses; opportunities vary by semester and include six (6), seven and a half (7.5), and twelve (12) hour‑per‑day positions in either the weekday or evening‑weekend programs. Weekend availability is preferred.

• Guide and mentor nursing students in clinical environments, ensuring safe and effective practice aligned with program standards.
• Supervise, instruct, and assess student performance during clinical activities.
• Collaborate with full‑time faculty to monitor student progress and evaluate clinical competency.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student learning and professional growth.

• A Master’s Degree in nursing is required or the candidate must be currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in a nursing program; these are state and accreditation requirements.
• New York State Registered Nursing license required with recent clinical experience preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable in the learner‑centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
