Registered Nurse - SAFE

About This Role

United Health Services is seeking a Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse passionate about patient advocacy and crisis intervention.

• Pay: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience

  Part-time, Rotating shift
• Sign-On Bonus:
  Up to $25,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates

• Provide comprehensive medical-forensic services to survivors.
• Conduct forensic examinations and collect evidence.
• Administer prophylactic medications.
• Support patients through their care journey with dignity and empathy.
• Collaborate with physicians, victim advocates, and law enforcement.
• Adhere to New York State Department of Health guidelines.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, Women’s Health, or Pediatrics preferred.

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
• Current BLS required; ACLS, PALS, SANE-A, AFN-C, LNCC preferred.
