About This Role
United Health Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Gastroenterology team at Binghamton General Hospital. This role involves delivering direct nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing education to patients and families.
Highlights- Pay: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience
- Location: Binghamton, NY
- Facility: UHS Binghamton General Hospital
- Department/Unit: GI Lab
- Schedule: Multiple shifts available
- Deliver direct nursing care within the Gastroenterology setting.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor patient status and respond timely to changes in condition.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding procedures and treatments.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with standards.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred
- Current NYS RN License required
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty preferred
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned preferred
