Registered Nurse – Psychiatric

Shift options: 2x12s and 2x8s or 5x8s - Shift times: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Requirements:

• Valid state RN license
• BLS certification
• Psychiatric nursing experience
• Experience with medication administration for a patient load of up to 25
• Skills in nursing assessments and clinical documentation

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and manage the care of up to 25 patients.
• Conduct nursing assessments and maintain accurate shift notes.
• Document weekly and monthly reports as required.
• Participate actively in a therapeutic milieu with patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

• COVID-19 vaccine required; medical exemptions only.
• Overtime must be approved by the CNO/ADON.
• Meal breaks are one hour in length and must be taken in a non-patient area.
• Staff expected to work with patients across unit duties as needed.
• Form submission required for shift swaps.
• Submittal requirements include SSN and DOB.
