About This Role

United Health Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Methadone Maintenance Program on Memorial 4 at Binghamton General Hospital. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a high-volume, high-responsibility environment and possess exceptional organizational skills, clinical judgment, and attention to detail.

• Pay: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience
• Location: Binghamton, NY
• Facility: Binghamton General Hospital
• Department/Unit: UHS Medication-Assisted Treatment Clinic
• Schedule: Full-time, Rotating
• Sign-On Bonus: Eligible up to $15,000.00

• Perform nursing assessments and administer medications.
• Manage medication inventory and delivery processes.
• Monitor patient progress and provide compassionate care.
• Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of treatment.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients.
• Maintain strict regulatory compliance.
• Accurately handle controlled substances.
• Communicate effectively with patients and care team members.

• Education:
  • A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience:
  • Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred

  • Current NYS RN License required
  • Professional certification in a related nursing specialty preferred
  • Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned preferred
