About This Role
United Health Services is seeking an experienced and passionate Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Educator to join the Binghamton General Hospital Emergency Department team. This dynamic leadership role involves collaborating with nursing leadership to develop and deliver educational programs for ED staff.
Highlights- Pay: $44.77 - $67.15 per hour, depending on experience
- Location: Binghamton, NY
- Facility: Binghamton General Hospital
- Department/Unit: Emergency Department
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Collaborate with unit coordinators and nurse managers to develop orientation programs.
- Deliver continuing education and competency assessments for ED staff.
- Identify educational needs and design specialty-focused training programs.
- Support evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
- Mentor and develop staff to ensure high-quality emergency care.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Three (3) years of nursing practice experience in a clinical setting required
- Previous teaching experience preferred
Certifications:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License required
- CPR certification within 3 months of hire required
- Completion of Professional Certification within 3 years required
- Professional Nursing Certification in Professional Development preferred
- Professional Certification in another nursing specialty preferred
