RN Nurse, ICU Nurse
Location: City of Binghamton
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients recovering from surgeries or experiencing serious conditions such as cardiogenic shock and respiratory failure. You will serve as a primary or accountable nurse, educate patients and families, safely administer medications, and support resource utilization.
The position involves working night shifts, with responsibilities including peer support, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and contributing to ongoing professional development. Candidates should demonstrate empathy, teamwork, adherence to professional standards, and a willingness to learn.
Qualifications Include
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Current New York State RN license
- Preferred: BSN, clinical experience in acute care, CCRN certification, and additional skills certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS)
